Tohaa Sakiel Regiment: Painted!
My first non-Gorgos Tohaa model painted is this one, the Sakiel with viral combi rifle and swarm grenade. This model is one of my favourite Tohaa, I just love the pose and the mohawk of symbiont armour! Love it.

The fact that you consider this a 're-do' paintjob makes me very sad at my own paintjobs :P
ReplyDeleteLooks very nice with the depth, shading, or whatever that makes all the separate sections of armor plating visible. Only critique might be that the style of the mini doesn't seem to match the style of the base, imo.
Yeah the bases don't look so hot in the pics... I like them though. They seem all shiney in the pics for some reason but aren't as noticeable in person. They're meant to be rusted old plates and pipes, like the depths of the crashed Earth ship on Paradiso. Always good when you have to explain your bases hahahaha
