The 30th of December saw the release of the photos for the next set of releases from Corvus Belli, and in my opinion a pretty sensational set of models they are too.
Aside from the fairly "meh" repackaging of the Celestial Guard, it represents ten other models that in my opinion cement CB at the top of wargame models podium.

New Year, New Models!

Tohaa Gorgos Is Gorgeous
I must admit to having thoughts of a third army in the wake of the new Tohaa Gorgos model pictures. Now that is a rather awesome piece of sculpting.
There's been a bit of moaning about the stance of it's legs, but the fact it is so friggin' tall just makes it even cooler to me. I imagine the Gorgos to be something different to the usual TAGs; a monstrous alien creature in armour purposefully striding across the battlefield, coldly picking off it's enemies one at a time! Epic.

Trinkets and Pretty Things
Another solid month by CB standards for Infinity, with the new batch of announced new models for Infinity.
The Dire Foes combat models are all really nice again, although only the Shasvastii really sings to me if I'm honest. However the two civvies are superb, with the hazard suit lady being probably the best civvie model in the range in my opinion.
Nomads get the really brilliant Intruder sculpt, and Tohaa get for me probably one of the least attractive models in their range with the Ectros HMG (weird looking legs?). As an ALEPH guy, the Machaon model is my highlight. Initially I was somewhat disappointed that he didn't have the athletic pose of many of the other male Myrmidon officer heroes. However the more I look, the more I love. The mini-Ajax school bag and the long coat are just lovely little stylistic ideas, and within the existing Phalanx model range it will make a great addition from an aesthetic point of view. Not sure about the greasy looking fringe thing Angel painted though...

James' Jurisdictional Command Of Corregidor Army - Now on eBay
James hasn't posted this for some reason so I thought I would. He is selling his awesome Jurisdictional Command Of Corregidor army on eBay, mere weeks after completing their painting. The madman.
He's offering world wide/international postage so have a look at his eBay auction by going here, and snap up a beautifully painted, 300pt Nomad army. Contact him or ask questions here or via eBay and he'll be sure to answer! He's also selling a huge amount of unpainted Nomad models on MAS bases too, loads more Corregidor and Bakunin too.
More images below.

Cometh The Dire Foes
After a couple months of anticipation, the Infinity Dire Foes boxsets are starting to filter out from Corvus Belli. And my oh my, what a selection of lovely little baubles they've put together for November!
The models are anything BUT Dire! See what I did there?!

Isobel McGregor: I choose you!
Corvus Belli has released a sneak peak of the new Dire Foes model for Ariadnan spec ops badass, Isobel McGregor via the Beasts of War YouTube channel. And it's a little belter in my opinion.
The only thing that (at the moment) stops this being a 10/10 model for me, is that the leg pose is rather similar to the Covert Ops Uxia model... but we're still talking a solid 9.5/10. The question is what will this proxy for in a regular list minus Dire Foes? Answers on a postcard.

Para Commando - Done!
This is Caporal Jean-Pierre Bosser (yeah I name my models...) he is a Para Commando from the Merovingienne 11e Brigade Parachutiste (11th Parachute Brigade). Armed with an HMG and a bucketload of badassery. Love this model to bits as the pose is just absolutely perfect.
81pts done from my target of 200pts, before I allow myself to buy any more models. I have about 320pts of Ariadna in total so I'm not exactly being too hard on myself! My aim is within a couple of weeks to be playing with a virtually completed army, paintwise, and then swap stuff in and out as I please - or acquire new models.

Miranda Ashcroft: Model Review
Well lucky ol' me, my pre-order of the infiNity Artbook One arrived today. As a bonus extra for pre-ordering, I also recieved a limited edition model of the latest Authorised Bounty Hunter, Miranda Ashcroft. Suffice to say I've wasted no time in getting her assembled and based, and I thought I'd leave a few quick thoughts about the model.

Reverend Moiras Boxed Set Review
Hey guys, and welcome to a review of the Reverend Moiras boxed set.
Now these models are really important for me, as they're the reason I'm playing Infinity! When Mike first suggested the idea of the game to me, I remembered models I had seen a while ago and started looking through the range.
I had seen a great sniper with a kilt (an Ariadna guy) and so I initially decided to do Ariadna. If I'm honest it wasn't quite pulling me in, but when I saw these girls in all their resplendent glory (OK, OK it was because they're half naked...) I knew I'd found what I wanted. I hadn't realised the cost in game of these ladies, so I ended up having to buy a lot of other stuff to make a list. But that's a story for another time, back to the review!
I'll rate the different aspects of the set as I go along, out of five.
Kromlech Urban Rubble basing kit review
I thought I'd do a short review of a product I have recently used to base up my Ariadnan miniatures, the Kromlech Urban Rubble basing kit.
My first ever infiNity model
So after a European holiday that came a day after receiving my shipment of infiNity models, I finally got round to actually painting one of them. The assembly process on my first 200pts of Ariadna was... interesting. No, when I say 'interesting' what I mean is actually 'stressful'.
My first painted model was simply the last one I completed assembly, a Caledonian Mormaer.
