More Music From The Human Sphere

Just a quick recommendation here. If soundtracks and voice-free music is your thing (and it is definitely my 'thing') then I can't recommend the output from the members of Zombi highly enough.

Zombi are a duo who perform electronic soundscapes that can be best described as the sort of music John Carpenter never used on Escape From New York, or Ridley Scott rejected for Blade Runner. Think 80's straight to video action and sci-fi movies but with supremely high quality soundtracks. Outside of Zombi, Anthony Pattera and Steve Moore also perform as Majeure and Steve Moore (!) respectively where it gets slightly more ambient and progressive. However as a soundtrack to Infinity everything they produce fit's perfectly in my minds eye to the universe of the EI and the Human Sphere.

Here's a selection of some of my favourite songs from the duo:

Some Music... And A Message

It's all gone a bit quiet on Toth recently, I need to fix that. So expect some new stuff to read coming soon. In the meantime, check out this little tune below - it's on the trailer for the new Tom Cruise movie Edge of Tomorrow, which looks awesome incidentally.

Aside from that I'm looking for people interested in writing articles for Project: Toth. I'm after experienced/seasoned Infinity players with an interest in writing. Shoot me an email to retrovertigo.mike@gmail.com if you're interested.

Sounds To Paint To

I'm trying to make a sow's ear into a silk purse tonight... a.k.a paint the Assault Pack Antipode models (just dire, dire models but such a good battlefield unit!). The only thing keeping me going is listening to the soundtrack to Deux Ex: Human Revolution. I've just started playing it again after nabbing the game for £5 in the Blockbuster Fire Sale. I never killed the final boss last time I played through it, so thought I'd give it another go.

Anyway. I'd not appreciated how epic the soundtrack was. The 'Main Theme' in particular conjures up all sorts of fantastic Infinity related visions!

Random Post: I've Found The Theme Song For My Steel Phalanx

The hatch of the dropship slowly unfolds to the ground; the Paradiso snow whips around the engine vents, buffeted by the downdraft. As Ronald Jenkees smashes out an 80's action movie theme song on the synthesizer, Assault Subsection leader and hero, Achilles, is seen framed in the hatch doorway, hair blowing manfully as he grimly surveys the battlefield and his troops stream past him in perfect formation...

Or something.
